Great Summer Dish- Chaat Mix
well summers here, the sun is shining the birds are tweeping life is good.
you need a nice dish for the summer you say?, well i got just the answer. Its healthy,tastes great, make you look cool and is jam packed with loads of veggies, so no complaining there.
Well its an indian dish there are loads of take on this dish but only know how to make one of them so here goes.
you will need:-
1 caned or fresh sweetcorn (green gaint one is always good)
2 Boiled potatoes( if you dice them first only takes 5min to boil)
1 Carrot grated or diced (depends on what you prefer)
2 Tomatoes diced
1/2 a cucumber finely chopped
1 medium red or white onion
1 pepper any one you like i added green to give it more colour
1 chilli
1 Can on chick peas boiled until soft
1 big tub of greek yogurt such as total
and finally you may have to make a trip to bury park for this
Laziza Chaat Masala.
How to make it:-
add all the vegtable into a mixing bowl give it a toss add in the yogurt until all the vegtables are covered and then add in 1 table spoon on the chaat masala, depending how spicy you like it you can add more but it should be enough. put in the fridge and enjoy a couple hours later.
